1. First film I remember watching – Peter Pan

So to be honest, I don’t specifically remember the first movie I’ve ever seen, but I’ve been told by my parents that this was something they could put on when I was an infant and I would be basically hypnotized by it.

I love the Peter Pan story, as well as some of the various takes on it over the years. I’ve seen the animated sequel that Disney later put out, some of the live-action versions, many stage productions, and Hook with Robin Williams as an adult Peter, trying to regain his sense of youth. I feel like the original still holds up well (for the most part) and is something I’ll show to my own kids when I have them. Don’t know if it’ll be the very first movie I put on for them, but showing it early on will help instill a sense of wonder and fantasy that can stay with them for years to come.
